Funky Flow with Kelsey Esther

We are so excited to have Kelsey back at the studio for a day! She will be leading a 75 minute funky flow class that will explore dynamic movement. After mobility and breath work you will come to find a dance like rhythm. Exploring graceful yet challenging movements, unusual transitions and plenty of time to play. The class will be geared towards setting a solid foundation, working on important strength building and proprioception techniques.
Kelsey is an CYT500 who has been practicing yoga for 8 years and has been teaching for 3. She recently returned from her 300hr teacher training with Authentic Movements. She continues to develop a strong personal practice, studying various lineages, and consciously chooses not to be defined by a particular school or style. Kelsey’s teaching style varies from peaceful yet delightful restorative or hatha classes, to whimsical yet powerful vinyasa. Breath integration, core stability and prop usage are key elements in all of her teachings.

Little Yogis Day
For our summer schedule we have decided to combine Family Yoga & Little Yogis Day. Details about each class can be found below!
//Baby Yoga: 10:00-10:30am
Nurture your baby while caring for yourself. This class invites babies and their caregivers to bofnd through loving touch and movement. This class will be aimed for postpartum and newborn needs, but all family dynamics are welcome. Let baby in on the yoga action physically, mentally and spiritually to build a strong bond of trust and security while also soothing aches, pains and promote healthy healing. You will find a warm, supportive community.
//Toddler Yoga: 10:45-11:15am
Partner with your toddler in simple animated poses, games, art, music and breathing exercises that help to strengthen coordination and build body awareness. We'll bark in downward dog, hiss in cobra pose and flutter our wings in butterfly, while we take a yoga journey that your child will never forget! This fun class provides key bonding methods between parent and child, while strengthening their growing muscles, and helping your own aches and pains.
//Family Yoga: 11:30-12:00pm
Expect a fun, joyful and peaceful way to move together mindfully. We begin with thoughtfully tuning in, followed by a fun, mindful, playful and meditative practice that includes postures, partner poses, games, stories and group poses. Great for introducing kids of all ages to the practice and benefits of yoga, breath work, and meditation. All family dynamics welcome!
